Happy New Year!
Wow! What an amazing year! 2007 zipped by for me, how about you? What was your biggest accomplishment? How does it feel to have achieved that dream? Fantastique! Congratulations on your achievement and my best wishes for your continued success!
What are your plans for 2008? Have you created your dream list for the new year? One of my favorite things to do is create new tools, products and programs for authors and speakers. My mission is to help educators get their message out and make a positive difference in our world.

Who can write a book? Anyone with a dream, desire or an idea. If you are an authority on a subject, possess a skill that others wish to learn, have specialized knowledge, want to teach others or simply have a burning desire to tell a story, you can write a book.
Hello. I am an author and in the midst of working no getting published. This appears to be a very helpful site, so thank you for all of your tips!
To answer your question, the hardest part for me about publishing is figuring out who and what I need to send to the publisher to get their interest.
One school of thought is to over-commit–to a dream, goal, New Year’s Resolution, whatever.
Does this work? What do you think?
One year in the 1970s I vowed to write 7 books within a year (don’t even know where the figure 7 came from; can’t remember). Anyhow, by year end I achieved this. First time ever…last time since. I never tried anything like this again.
