What is in a name?  Everything!  You want to make sure you grab your audience with a Book Title that wow’s them, shakes them up a little, makes them curious and want to pick up YOUR book, instead of the others on the shelf!

Yes, these are real book titles!

There are two important components to a book title:

  • The Hook
  • The Promise

The Hook is the book title that describes your book, i.e., “7 Easy Steps to Write Your Book”.

The Promise is the subtitle that tells the reader what they are going to achieve by reading your book, i.e., “How to get your Book out of your head and a manuscript in your hands”.

Your Book Title is part of you, it is your message to the world.  Spend some time with it, ask your professional peers, friends and family their opinion on the right title for your book.  Use the title that:

  • Promotes your message;
  • Describes your business; or
  • Makes you feel “just right”.
